We enjoyed skiing in Nagano during new year holidays. Nagano is located in the middle of Honshu Island of Japan, and well-known as a spot where Winter Olympics were held in 1998. Beautiful weather, perfect powder snow and a variety of courses were definitely beyond our expectation. It commands high mountains including Mt.Asama from the top, one of the active volcanoes. Outside temperature was always negative, but downhill skiing warmed up us so quickly. Wonderful sunrise graced the new year so lovely.
